I write, design and direct animated stories for inquisitive viewers, no matter their age.

With a strong background in theatre, I like to bring a certain dose of naivety into my work. I enjoy experimenting with seemingly unfitting styles and focusing on characters that usually get overlooked. And, where it fits, I add rhyme to the mixture.

I am currently working freelance in Bristol, UK. If you would like to work with me on a project, please get in touch. This is what I’ve been up to recently:

I graduated from the University of the West of England in 2015 with an MA (Distinction) in Animation. Since then, I’ve worked on various animated projects, from short films, through corporate videos, to theatre projections. I have recently finished working on a short film ‘The Hunchback and the Swan’, which I created in collaboration with UK’s First Storytelling Laureate — Taffy Thomas, MBE, and under the mentorship of Aardman’s co-founder and Creative Director — Peter Lord, CBE.

Here’s an interview Spoiler Alert Radio did with me in August 2017 — about ‘The Hunchback and the Swan’, my other works and my creative practice in general:

And here’s a link to an article I wrote for History Press Local on adapting a folk tale for animation.
